Just wanted to stop by real quick for a Face of the Day post!
Today I went all out and used only matte shadows to create a more neutral look with a dramatic, thick eyeliner. I’ve always found matte eye shadows a lot more challenging to work with which has earlier led me to mainly use more shimmery or glitter eye shadows but I have to say that the matte shades in the Nude Dude Palette by The Balm are surprisingly easy to work with and blend.
For this look I used the following shades: Friendly as my crease colour, Feisty and Flawless to blend out my crease and to deepen the outer parts of my lids, Fearless on the inner parts of the lid and finally Fabulous to lighten my inner corners.
Still working on nailing those faux freckles using my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Auburn which is also what I used as my eyeliner and for my brows. Lashes are Siren by House of Lashes.
For my base I used BareMinerals Original Foundation in the shade Fair and my Kat von D Shade+Light Contour Kit. The blush I used this time is Too Faced Love Flush Blush and the shade is called How Deep is Your Love?
Lips are a combination of Sephoras own Lipliner to Go in shade Nr. 13 Pink Beige and Too Faced Melted Chocolate Lipstick in Chocolate Milkshake.
Hope you enjoyed this post and let me know if there’s any particular look you’d like me to try out.
Finally if you haven’t, please check out my Instagram and maybe give it a follow. It would mean a ton!
Lots of love!
