Today I wanted to share a quick review on the most talked about hair vitamin and so called miracle product that has taken the social media world by storm.
I’ve been using Sugarbearhair Vitamins since November and I know they’re all the hype on Instagram and people are getting paid to promote them left and right.
I have not been paid to talk about these and I bought them for my own money simply because I wanted to try them out and see if they actually live up to the hype.
First of all these vitamins are absolutely adorable, they’re so cute I almost don’t want to eat them!
Secondly for anyone who has previously tried hair vitamins it’s only natural to question the taste simply because hair vitamins in general taste absolutely horrifying.
Contrary to any other hair supplement I have ever tried before Sugarbearhair are absolutely delicious and if they were regular candies I would have no problem stuffing myself with an entire jar of them.
Now something that looks this cute and tastes this good couldn’t possibly contain everything needed to actually count as a good hair vitamin, right?
Well, as far as I can tell they contain pretty much everything I would expect from a good hair vitamin.
Like I said earlier I’ve been using these vitamins since November and while I didn’t notice a huge difference in hair growth my skin got smoother and less dry and my nails got significantly stronger.
In all honesty I didn’t have that much hope for my hair because of my hypothyreosis stunting my hair growth and also the fact that I’ve gone through a gastric bypass surgery three years ago which makes it harder for my body to get proper nutrition and vitamins.
However my hair grew at least 1 cm (which is around 0,5 inches) during both November and December, which is far more than it usually grows during a month.
I haven’t been as diligent in taking these vitamins during this January and my nails have become a lot more brittle and my hair didn’t even grow 1 cm.
So onto my final judgement, do they actually work?
Generally when it comes to things such as vitamins there needs to be a deficiency in order to really notice a difference. In my case I definitely did see a difference when taking the vitamins because I have a lot of deficiencies both in terms of vitamins and nutrition in general, I did however not see as huge a difference as I probably would have had my body not been affected by my gastric bypass and hypothyreosis.
If you feel like you would like to boost the general health of your skin, hair and nails I would say they’re definitely worth trying but keep in mind that it usually takes 1-3 months before you notice any results of taking vitamins. Also keep in mind that it won’t be able to affect the health and state of the lengths of your hair, the effect of the vitamins only show on new growth.
If you’re interested in reading more about these vitamins, you can check out Sugarbearhairs website here or if you live in the Nordic countries you are able to read more about them and purchase them from Lyko, link here.
Finally if you haven’t, please check out my Instagram and maybe give it a follow. It would mean a ton!
